“The Inspiration for “My Doll n Me” Jewelry:

I came up with the idea of matching jewelry for “My Doll n Me” when my daughter started wanting to take her doll “Sabrina” everywhere, and loved to dress herself and her doll in matching outfits. My daughter also loved to wear MY pretty necklaces, and wanted her doll to have a necklace, too.

We decided to buy beads and put together matching necklaces so Anika and Sabrina could dress JUST the same. I thought it would be fun to create jewelry that people could buy in matching sets, all ready for a girl and her doll to wear together!

We chose colorful sparkly beads to reflect the sparkle and shine of a young girl’s personality. We decided to add charms, so that each girl could personalize her jewelry, to fit her own personal interests, whether it be horse-back riding, skating, or gymnastics.
